I have five minutes left on my lunch break, but I thought that I might at least try to say something. In my last entry I talked about how sick I felt, but after that it got much worse. I ended up in the urgent care with walking pnemonia. It was awful. I was taking all these medications and coughing all the time. I couldn’t breathe deeply at all, I just took these little shallow breaths and had this weird pain in my chest. So I saw Dr. Mazzone (cool guy, I highly recommend him) and he gave me a million types of medication to take. I had so much cough syrup I actually started getting dependent on the codine.

I found this article today and wonder what any of you out there think of the Colorado Supreme Court ruling. Read the article here.

I can kind of see both sides of it in the light that the jurors are not supposed to have any outside influence on their decision, but then again I think that the outside influence of their life experiences is exactly why we have a jury. These jurors have, in theory, experienced enough in life to get an idea of right and wrong. For a large majority of Americans, part of that influence is Christianity and the Bible. It would be presumptuous to make a discussion of Biblical teachings amongst a group of jurors that were not all equally influenced by the teachings of the Bible, but a personal wish to consult the Bible is not a hampering of the judicial system.

I just want to hear what other people think about that…

Well all you out there in blogland whom I haven’t spoken to in person for awhile here are some updates on my life.

• I am licensed realtor at Peabody and Plum Realtors, Inc.
• I haven’t made a sale yet, and I am paid on straight commissions
• The wedding plans are coming along nicely right now
• I have a new Jeep Grand Cherokee that Kim and I bought
• The night of March 9th my grandfather passed away

I think that is all that is of significance over the last month or two since I really posted last.

Maybe I will update with more detail later, but what should really happen is you out there in blogland should tell me what you want detail on.
